Liliana Ferreira, director of Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS, based in Porto, discusses in this podcast the role of the R&D center she heads in transferring technologies that improve people’s quality of life. Liliana Ferreira is Director of Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto.

An expert in areas such as natural language processing, medical informatics, and knowledge representation, she has conducted significant research at institutions including Philips Research and the Fraunhofer Center in Portugal.
