The revolution of the internet of things in motion

In this episode, Susana Sargento, a full professor at the University of Aveiro, discusses the crucial role of innovation and technology in the cities of the future. She shares her journey since the early days of the mobile internet, recalling her experience co-founding Veniam, a pioneering company in the “internet of things in motion”, which facilitated the monitoring of the urban environment and opened the door to new services.

Susana also talks about the development of the Aveiro Tech City Living Lab, a living laboratory in the city, which allows testing solutions in real and virtual scenarios and increasing collaboration with companies, enabling the creation of new jobs in the technology sector.
